Privacy Policy

Neuraknow is a personal learning app built by Abid Waqar. This policy explains how the app handles your data. The short version: it doesn't leave your device, and we collect nothing.

Data stored on your device

Neuraknow stores all of your data locally on your device using a SQLite database. This includes:

• Concepts you create (titles, explanations)
• Collections you organize them into
• Review history and spaced repetition scheduling data
• App settings (theme preference, reminder time)

This data never leaves your device. There is no cloud sync, no server-side storage, and no backup to any external service.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or telemetry. There is no server to send data to. We have no way of knowing who uses the app or how they use it.

Accounts and authentication

Neuraknow does not require or offer user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email collection. You open the app and start using it immediately.

Permissions

Neuraknow requests only one permission:

• Notifications — Used solely for daily review reminders that you configure. These are local notifications scheduled entirely on your device. No push notification server is involved.

On Android, the app also uses the RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED and SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM permissions to re-schedule your reminder alarm after a device reboot. These involve no network activity.

Neuraknow does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, photos, or any other sensitive data.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts — The Inter font is bundled into the app at build time via the google_fonts Flutter package. No runtime requests are made to Google servers.
• Buy Me A Coffee — The app contains an optional link to buymeacoffee.com/abidwaqar. Tapping it opens your device's browser. No data is shared between Neuraknow and this service.

Neuraknow contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, no crash reporting tools, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Children's privacy

Because Neuraknow does not collect any data from any user, it does not knowingly collect data from children. The app stores information only on the device where it is installed.

Data deletion

Uninstalling Neuraknow removes all data stored by the app. Since no data is transmitted to any server, there is nothing to request deletion of on our end.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect when changes were made.
